About
Khoury Johnson
Before joining PPR, Khoury served as the Writer-Editor for the Washington, D.C. Office of the Inspector General. Before that, he accumulated a wealth of writing, editing, and marketing/communications roles across several fields, from nonprofits (Urban Institute) to higher education (Georgetown University). With a focus on translating complex topics into accessible copy, Khoury is a versatile communicator with diverse interests, including economic development.
Khoury hails from Philadelphia. He is a graduate of Temple University and Georgetown University, where he focused on international affairs. Occasionally, he speaks Mandarin and French. But, more often than not, you’ll find him rhapsodizing about his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. (Go Birds!)
Favorite part of the job: diving into small-town communities and helping them tell their stories
Professionals Superpowers: writing clear, concise, compelling copy
Personal Superpowers: To listen is to learn
Favorite things: A good ghost story/movie, morning and midnight bike rides, learning the art of napping from his tuxedo cat, traveling someplace new, writing but never completing the next Great American Novel, and of course a good donut every now and again
